Calibrating Canon T1i and 50 mm f1.4 USM lens?

Basically i want to calibrate my camera with all my lenses... My pics while zooming to actual size are blurry, though on camera LCD they look decent. I tried sending lens to Canon, they sent me back "already adjusted", I explained that to their technician that problem persists and she asked to send lens with body. I don't want to use extravagant methods that take lots of time and money, though i could send my camera and lenses for free to Canon Service Center... somebody said there is a way to do calibration at home. Please help me, because sending it to Canon is also tricky (can be damaged by UPS) and timely (i always keep shooting).

It's all about money money money and the elderly are the biggest consumers of doctor visits and medication. They may have insurance but most also have to pay some out of pocket and that adds up. Younger people only go to the doctor when they're sick. Losing the elderly would put a huge dent in the wallets of the doctors and pharmaceutical companies. A young person will have a better chance of living through a disease or surgery than an older person because their bodies are capable of better repair. Basically, when you get old, you die. Medicines and surgeries are like the extra ace up a person's sleeve in a poker game, not a good hand of cards. If the rest of that person's cards are a 4 10 J and a 3, they still lose despite what should be an advantage.

And don't try to express any milk because this will only encourage her to make more. Also cut back on her protein/food but make sure she's drinking.

She could be grieving about her Grandma. My Grandma died about 3 years ago, and I went through a stage of depression for a couple of months. I was really close to her since she lived with my family, and was always around. What helped me to get over my depression was exactly what she is doing now. I went to a couple of counseling groups and talked about how I felt. When you talk about it helps you cope a lot easier than if you bottle it all inside.

TMJ Surgery on a 16 year old girl? HELP Please if you've had the surgery!?

Hi. So I'm a 16 year old girl and I have very bad TMJ. I used to go to a TMJ Specialist who did these certain stretches and movements that relieved the pain a little bit. He told me if the pain ended up worsening I would eventually need to have TMJ Surgery. I have had braces already and I wear a retainer at night to keep my teeth in place and so I don't grind my teeth. The pain of TMJ has really gotten unbearable to me. Eating things that aren't even chewy like a piece of cheese or a banana makes me want to cry. if I open my mouth even a little bit, my jaw pops and it hurts so incredibly bad. I am asking this question because my parents have this weird insurance that will cover any surgery but only one dentist accepts it for a consultation and he is out of town until next month so I can't ask him. I have heard that the TMJ procedure is a quick outpatient procedure that has a recovery time of around 3 months with your jaw wired shut. I'm just wondering how you breathe, eat, talk, and brush your teeth with your jaw wired shut. I've heard you drink through a straw and I know you can breathe through your nose but I breathe through my mouth when I sleep and I sleep with my mouth open (involuntarily). I go to online high school so being out of school isn't an issue for me. And do you recover at home or in the hospital?

My daughter is now 8 weeks old and the doctor "says" she's got colic and reflux so I've switched her formula to Enfamil nutramigin for colic and she's also on Zantac and Levison drops...but about 4pm-1am She's screaming on and off every 5 or less minutes for hour periods then finally relaxes to sleep for about four hours. A few days ago, I suddenly got a fever of 102 which lasted for 2 days. Then yesterday, I noticed a red, spotty rash all over my body that didn't itch. Body fat % Amateur Boxer?

Hi I'm getting back into boxin after a spell out. I used to compete at around 69 kilos (152 pounds) and currently weigh 77 kilos (169). I'm 5'8'' and everyone i fought at 69 Kilos (6 fights - 3 wins, 3 losses) were always taller which was annoying. I calculated my body fat using calipers and the 7 site test and am currently 21.77% body fat. Ideally i'd like to compete again at 64 Kilos (141 pounds)- light welter. This would mean having a body fat percentage of 6.24 % though - is this ok? I have no doubts I could do it because i am a very hard and dedicated trainer and am well aware of correct nutrition and protein requirements for maintainig muscle m. I just wanted your advice as to whether this is safe and/or advisable. The next weight catagory up is 69 Kilos - welter - my old weight and would mean a body fat % of 12.76%.

Why is it that so many people like John Locke on Lost?

I recently started watching the show, and Locke creeps me out. He is kind of a "disciple" of the Island....saying stuff to Boone like, "it will show us the way." What can I do to help a sick dog?

O.K. Here's the scoop. This is not my dog. I'm looking after it for my in laws while they are on vacation. They failed to mention to me that the dog is sick, and by sick I mean it's literally spraying liquid crap everywhere it goes. It's a big dog too. A chow chow. I have to bathe it frequently. Every time it goes it gets liquid crap soaked into it's fur all over it's backside. It's house trained, but obviously can't hold it in. I cant leave it outside because it's -25 out where I am. I have to keep the poor thing locked in a room of the house which I've cleared out. I'll have to scrub down the room, and disinfect it once this is over. I have no information about their vet. I'm trying to get hold of the owners, but so far no dice. Someone told me they fed it something different than it usually eats, and now all hell is breaking loose. Waiting 28 weeks for a sonogram????

My doctor is so annoying. She only allows a sonogram at 8 weeks (which shows nothing but a lump of flesh), then she drags it out for one last one at 28 weeks. Personally, it depends on who I'm getting the gift for. For extended family - it's onerous because it's hard to decide what to get people that already have everything. I would advise you to leave him alone. Some people don't get it and won't get it until they hit rock bottom. For example, I have a family member that overspent any time she could. She wouldn't think or care about the consequences. She lost her house, car, and ruined her credit. I tried to help her but she absolutely refused any help from me or others. As much as it hurt me to see her this way I had to let her be. She hit rock bottom and has slowly been getting back on track. She learned her lesson and is now very conscience of how she spends her money. Just leave your bf alone and let him learn from his own experience. I would like to hear stories of your paranormal experience. I have a couple that I would like to share. I've lived in haunted houses all my life. I've had dreams of spirits but I don't know what they mean. But this happened to me at job corps in roswell. In the girls restroom on the second floor of our dorms. I walked into the restroom. The first stall was being used, so I walked to the one next to it. When I came out there was no one in the first stall. I'm sure I saw someone in there. I even felt its energy. I wasn't freaked out or anything but I just washed my hands and walked out. The second time I was in the restroom. I walked into the first stall. Then I saw someone run past my stall and run into the next one. When I walked out there was no one in there. The third time I was in the restroom I was looking in the mirror. Popping my zits. On the other side of me were the sinks. The mirror I was using was on a wall. So I couldn't see anyone on the other side. Well I heard one of the sinks turn on. I thought It was a student. I was curious to see who it was. So I walked over to the sinks. When I got there the sink was off and there was no one there. No one could have walked out or hide. Because I would of seen them. The other time and this didn't happen in the restroom. I was in my room. It was around 11 o'clock at night. Everyone was asleep, I know this because I was a commander on the floor. And everyone is suppose to be in there bed at ten. I was laying in bed, I wasn't sleeping yet. I heard someone in the janitors closet. Moving the bucket we use to mop the floor. The noise kept on for like thirty minutes straight without stopping. I got up to go check when I opened the door. There was no one in there and the noise had stopped. How do I keep the peace with my in laws during the holiday season?

Thanksgiving and Christmas bring out my overbearing, impolite, self centered, and worst of all worst in my in laws. I always really had a bad holiday season when I was growing up because we literally had no money and now I have kids so I want everything special for them. Every time a holiday comes around, I have certain sisters in law that want everything their ways and I just want to stay at home and not do anything. Your story is intriguing. At first I thought that your narrator was a slave in the pre-Civil War South, so I was a bit surprised to discover that he is an elf! Having read the Harry Potter series, however, I can reconcile his being an elf with that sort of fantasy. In critiquing your writing, I must tell you that you need to select a tense and stay with it. Most of what you've posted is written in present tense, which is more difficult to maintain than is past tense, thus occasionally you do slip into that more familiar tense. Where you've written "whom's life...", you should write whose life. Where you write "bares witness...", the term needed is bear witness. However, I do think that you've written the beginning of a possibly original story, one worth continuing. Take the time to do some editing and correcting, then resume writing the story which you are imagining. See how it goes. Good luck!

Help with transitioning a horse from pasture to stall?

In a week or so I'm going to be buying a horse and trailering her to my boarding stables. Right now she is kept in a pasture so she has full, all day access to grazing, along with being fed twice a day. Where I'm going to be keeping her, however, is a large paddock that has no grazing, so she'll only be fed twice a day, in the morning and evening. I know that I can't just change her eating habits from pasture to stall because of risk of colic caused by acid buildup....or something like that. I have a basic idea of how to transition her to twice a day feed in a stall but I'm not entirely certain. I've never had to do this with a horse before, so I'm a little confused. So - how should I go about this transition? Should I feed her at least 3 times a day at first, in a hay net so she eats slower? How long until she adjusts? How do I know when to start feeding her less often during the day? Should I buy a bale of gr/alfalfa mix so I can feed her more often myself? (The barn provides twice a day feeding @ no extra cost, would I need to supplement this?) Hopefully I don't have all my information wrong.....any tips are helpful, thanks so much! =)

Invading Mother-in-Law... Need advice!?

Heres a lil background....My husband and I have been together for 8 years... 6 of those years have been spent a state away from his Mother... we use to live in the same state but because she is very controlling and very nosey we moved to get some space from her. Things have been wonderful having our own lives, seperate from her. Dont get me wrong, I love her. She just tries to give her input in everything and wants to ever detail about our lives... all the time... She expects us to talk to her everyday, which I don't even talk to my own mother that often. So, 2 years ago I had a son... My mother-in-law literally tries to be his mother. Sounds dramatic but, she totally tries to take over. Everyone who has seen this relationship between her and my son always bring it to my attention, saying how weird it is that they are so close to him and how she tries to take the mother role.I guess I would be able to shut my mouth and just bear it but they are here every other weekend and its driving us crazy. NOW! They bought a house RIGHT down the street from us and my husband and I have had absolutely no rest from visits from them. The house is their vacation home but they are there for a week, almost 2 at a time. Also, NO ONE will come over to our home if they know my mother-in-law is here because no one can stand how nosey and overbearing she is... She is also extremely rude but I think has no self awareness. lol. To top everything off, they bought the EXACT same house as us... and knowing that my husband has been out of work for almost a year, have rubbed everything they are doing to the house in our face. Here is the situation. The mother of my son wants to try and take my son away from me so we were pulled into child's court. We were not married together. She is a convicted drug user and seller, she suffers from bipolar disorder (she doesn't take her medication), she has a history of neglect and abuse toward her first child, which was why it was taken away from her and put into the system. This is her second child and my first. DCFS considers her a high risk mother. When she was pregnant with my child, she got busted for drug trafficking and was sent to prison. While serving her time, she gave birth at the local hospital near the prison and I was called to pick up my son, and he has been with me since. Since the second day of his birth. I have no criminal history but i also suffer from a mental disability and it's controllable though medication. When the dependency investigator asked me if i suffered from any mental conditions, i denied it, however it was again brought up during court by my lawyer and i again denied it. He has requested another investigator to collect my SSI medical records (which clearly says my SSI is based on a mental disability) and ask me some more personal questions, including accusations the mother made about me and my family history. I am very concerned over the fact that one of my siblings has a criminal history and i deny their existence, but they keep asking me about it. They've even ordered my mother to the court to testify. I don't understand why my sibling is even relevant to this case but they keep asking about it. I don't want my mother to lie and be convicted of perjury but i also don't want to shine my sibling to the case.

Because aggression is a natural tendency in some breeds. I have 2 dogs that are a mix of wolf, king sheppard and akita. I've had them since they were puppies (they are 9 and 10 years old now) and despite the fact they were brought up in a loving home, they still can be aggressive. Although they're aggression is directed toward other animals, I still would not trust them around my babies. They do not get near my kids because I'm not willing to roll the dice and take a chance on them harming my babies. It's not stereotyping them, it's that most dogs like this are aggressive by nature. I don't care how ''sweet'' you think your pit bull is. In a second, he has the capability to KILL your child. Having him around your kids, supervised or not, is playing a game of russian roulette.

Ideas for a non-trashy, non-skanky Texas tattoo?

I have a few tattoos but today I was wondering if I should get a Texas tattoo to remind me of home while I'm abroad (the job I'm studying for will take me to remote locations for 6 months or more at a time). What else can I do to get the abs I want?

I run 2 miles 4-7 times a week. I do 50 crunches. I do leg lifts. Push ups. I curl weights. I drink only water, milk in the morning for some protein. I just started taking these Fiber Pill things. I weigh in the range of 134-138. I am about 5'8" maybe a little more. I am 16 almost 17. When I started the quest for abs I weighed about 158. I lost a lot of weight. And now it just seems I can't get the abs. I am stable at the weight I mentioned before. My mom and dad said I am getting to bony. But I still can pinch a little stomach. When I flex my ab area I have a strong top area, though my lower abs are weaker. What can I do to get my abs to show, and what can I do to get my lower ab region stronger like my top region? When should I begin buying for my unborn baby?

I started buying things at about 7 weeks pregnant. My baby's room was finished at 24 weeks pregnant. I am completely ready to go now at 31 weeks. I picked things up here and there until I had everything I needed as it was easier then forking out a ton of money at once. So I say start anytime now. As for the names...honestly dont like any of them. I cant even say the boys name or maybe I can but I'm not sure and if its said the way I think then its pretty bad. the first thing I would do is verify the computer can browse through your ISP, connect the computer directly to the ethernet cord and verify your ability to browse, if you can browse with this connection, you have a setting messed up on your wireless adapter, it looks like you have the computer configured for hard coding an IP address, check with your ISP to verify your ip address is valid for connecting to the network, if so, check your router to verify DHCP enabled, for most broadband connections you will be able to connect better with the DHCP options enabled, also a common setting is to allow DNS address acquisition from ISP there are not very many times I can think of then hard coding is necessary for connectivity. the easiest thing I can think of is to call your isp and get the settings you need from them. you seem to be connecting wirelessly to your router just fine (your wireless icon shows connection, but no internet access) if the before mentioned is what you see, hard coding may be the issue, this is why I suggest calling your ISP

I'm 14 and I started with a heavy flow as quite a few of my friends did. My dad is a surgeon and I asked him about if it was "OK" (I only live with my dad) and he told me that a heavy flow is ok the body is just doing the natural thing in regards to ovulation, My flow has calmed a little now but I do still have some months when I have a lot of leakages, I try to change my tampon ever 3 hours when I have a heavy flow and I also get sever cramps so my dad (he knows due to my bad mood the week before that I am due) and will give me a box of ibuprofen to ease the cramps. Everyone id different however if you have a heavy flow for more than 2 weeks then there is cause for concern and its important to see your doctor, don't worry though they have heard it all before :D x

It's normal to not like cheese - we all have different tastes - but it's not exactly normal to be disgusted by it to that extent. I'm the same way about fish and seafood though, and even living fish freak me out - I can't swim in a lake or have an aquarium in my house. my 65 year old drunk Greek boss who is in a wheelchair with a broken foot at work is such an ****** to me. the buss boys didn't show up, and I'm the only waiter now for dinner. thus, I am THE only person working on the floor and it got busy tonight and I was running around like a crazy person trying to accomodate everyone. Then when I ask for some help from the guys in back, my boss has to act like I am a total whatever it is he thinks I am being, and start cussing and making faces like I am the root of all possible problems. It is so frustrating when I am busting MY *** to serve HIS customers with NO HELP WHATSOEVER. We do a lot of things tableside at this restaurant like tossing salads, and special Greek dishes that are prepared at the table, and he expects me to do all this AND take orders, AND get refills, AND serve bread and water and menus to the new parties, AND serve the hot food, AND clean it all up afterwards??? On a basic level, these can be taken as the cirstances of our existence: the form of our bodies, our personal allotment of ease or hardship, disease or health, etc. But on a more profound level, these realms are the frames of mind with which we confront our cirstances: the deep despair of the Hellish realm, the enslavement to impulse of the Animal realm, the insouciance of the Devas. Seen in this way, we can begin our day as “hungry ghosts”, be “fighting titans” by lunchtime and go to bed as “humans”. This cycle of states is pictured as a wheel, because we circle endlessly from one to another. Even the exalted diva realm is impermanent, and it’s just a matter of time until we find ourselves back in the lower realms (just ask Britney Spears). In this broad spectrum of realms, the most desirable, from the Buddhist point of view, is the human realm. It’s right there in the middle of the spectrum, or, as Camus put it in the sentence that precedes your quote, “…à mi-chemin entre la misère et le soleil (halfway between misery and the sun)”. This is seen as a privileged position because, unlike the realms of greater suffering below it, the Human is neither so mired in despair that she is unable to aspire to anything better, nor so driven by craving and habit that she is unable to marshal her will for change. And unlike the higher realms, the Human is aware enough of suffering to be spurred to escape it. We are Human when we both feel keenly the suffering of our existence and can harness our will to escape from the cycle altogether. Pardon this little excursion through Buddhist psychology, but I see Camus’ imagery as a perfect summary of the Human realm. When he says, “la misère m'empêcha de croire que tout est bien sous le soleil et dans l'histoire”, he captures this very Human awareness of the suffering in the world and acknowledges that history holds out little hope that this will ever change. And yet, when he says, “le soleil m'apprit que l'histoire n'est pas tout”, he manifests the other hallmark of humanity: the intuitive understanding that we aren’t bound by our dismal history; that we have the capacity to transcend “la misère”, contrary to what history would have us believe.
