Looking for anyone who is or may know of any distants relatives of Tenn. Laws/Huff family?

My maiden name is Huff but in all actuality it is Laws. When my great grandfather came to Texas as a child for what ever reason his mother had them take on her last name . . Huff . It's a mystery to me & others in fam.; that i've been able to locate only recently; as to what happened to his father my great great grandfather. I believe his name was James Laws.
