Do you find holiday gift-giving more pleasurable or onerous?

Personally, it depends on who I'm getting the gift for. For extended family - it's onerous because it's hard to decide what to get people that already have everything. For my child, on the other hand, it's very pleasing to see her face light up and her reaction to not only the gifts, but the overall Christmas holiday.
