Really Short Question...Answer Please! For boys with sisters!?

My little sister describes me and my brother as handsome. Is that normal? I thought it was because there is not attraction or underlying message beneath her statement. One of my sister's friends asked me if I was Todd or Oliver. I replied Todd and the girl next to her giggled and said "oh he's the handsome mean one Cara was talking about." (cara is my little sister). My friend gave me a weird look. Is it normal or even okay for your younger sister to describe you as handsome to her friends?
