My boss is being such a jerk?

my 65 year old drunk Greek boss who is in a wheelchair with a broken foot at work is such an ****** to me. the buss boys didn't show up, and I'm the only waiter now for dinner. thus, I am THE only person working on the floor and it got busy tonight and I was running around like a crazy person trying to accomodate everyone. Then when I ask for some help from the guys in back, my boss has to act like I am a total whatever it is he thinks I am being, and start cussing and making faces like I am the root of all possible problems. It is so frustrating when I am busting MY *** to serve HIS customers with NO HELP WHATSOEVER. We do a lot of things tableside at this restaurant like tossing salads, and special Greek dishes that are prepared at the table, and he expects me to do all this AND take orders, AND get refills, AND serve bread and water and menus to the new parties, AND serve the hot food, AND clean it all up afterwards??? WTF! why does he have to be so mean to me when he's just obviously frustrated himself ??? He takes it all out on me when all i'm doing is trying to make HIM his money and make HIS customers happy?? It is really upsetting me when I'm there and he acts like this. I can't get through to him because when I try to talk to him he just yells at me again and makes me go away. I cant make him happy or do anything right it seems, yet I can't figure out a single thing i've done wrong according to the way he wants things done. Confused.
