How do I know if a guy likes me?

well, i think this guy in my cl likes me and i might like him back but i'm not sure if he does or not. he's always so sweet to me and if there's nowhere else to sit he offers the spot next to him or scoots over to make room for me and stuff like that. how can i tell if he likes me for sure or not?
