Can you type up a song for instance on a Macintosh and then have a voice say it? If so, how?

Maybe System Preferences > Speech > Text to Speech or System Preferences > Universal Access > Voice Over, I've never tried them though. There use to be an included program with OS 7, 8 or 9 that could 'sing', but I don't know if OS X has one.
